Useful beyond the initial build

A lot of my experience comes from maintaining and extending production software over years, rather than only delivering new builds.

That makes me useful for the less tidy work too: inherited systems, changing APIs, difficult bugs, existing applications that need new functionality, and requirements that turn out to be more complicated than they first appeared.

You don’t need a perfectly defined specification before getting me involved. Part of the job can be working out what actually needs to be built.
